About Us
MyRepresentatives aims to be a one-stop-shop for participating in local politics online. We hope to enable Shelby County voters to easily find out who their representatives are, compare candidates' stands on issues, and give feedback without ever leaving their house. We want Shelby County residents to be among the first in the nation who can use their address to find a list of all the representatives and candidates in an upcoming elections.
This project aims to address the frustration inherent with our own ignorance regarding our local representatives. Simply put, we want to know why we should vote for one politician over another. The team came together thanks to Launch Memphis and 48 Hour Launch. We're proud to be associated with people who have a passion for innovation and who strive to make the world a better place.
